Living in Boca Raton, Florida
Boca Raton sits on the Atlantic coast at the southern end of Palm Beach County, just north of the Broward County line, with the Intracoastal Waterway running through its eastern side.

About Boca Raton
The lay of the land
Downtown centers on Mizner Park, an open-air plaza with shops, restaurants, an amphitheater and the Boca Raton Museum of Art. Along the ocean, beachfront parks such as South Beach Park, Red Reef Park and Spanish River Park offer beach access, and the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center sits on the barrier island. Florida Atlantic University's main campus is also in Boca Raton.
Homes range from oceanfront and Intracoastal condos to townhomes, single-family homes and golf and country club communities. Many communities west of city limits also carry a Boca Raton mailing address, so it's worth checking whether a property is inside the city or in unincorporated Palm Beach County.
I-95 and Florida's Turnpike run north to south through the area, both Tri-Rail and Brightline have stations in Boca Raton, and Boca Raton Airport serves general aviation.
